Mark Kanaly is co-chair of Alston & Bird’s Corporate Area, which includes the Corporate & Securities, Finance, Financial Services, Health Care, Investment Funds, and Real Estate groups. He previously served as chair of the firm’s Partners Committee and Financial Services Group. Mark represents corporate clients, particularly in the financial services industry, advising on M&A, IPOs, public and private capital raises, corporate governance, and related regulatory matters. 

He regularly counsels boards of directors on strategic planning, regulatory issues, and governance matters.
